Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 August 2026

These Terms govern your use of lalidev.com and the services provided by lalidev. Please read them carefully.

01Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of lalidev.com (the "Site") and any web design, development, or related services ("Services") provided by lalidev ("we", "us", "our"), operated by an independent web developer based in Accra, Ghana. By using the Site or engaging our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

02Our Services

We provide website and web-application design and development, along with related consulting, maintenance, and care plans. The Site itself is primarily informational — it showcases our work and lets you contact us. Any specific project is governed by a separate written agreement, proposal, or quote agreed between us, which prevails over these Terms wherever the two conflict.

03Inquiries & Engagement

When you contact us through the Site (by email, WhatsApp, or a form), you agree to provide accurate information. Submitting an inquiry does not, by itself, create a binding contract. A project only begins once both parties have agreed on scope, price, and timeline in writing.

04Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — text, graphics, logos, layout, code samples, and portfolio work — is owned by lalidev or its respective clients and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or reuse it without our written permission. Portfolio and demo pieces are shown for demonstration purposes only and remain the property of their respective owners.

05Client Project Terms

For paid engagements, ownership of deliverables, payment schedules, revisions, and timelines are defined in the individual project agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, once a project is completed and paid for in full, the domain, hosting, code, and accounts are handed over to you and belong to you with no lock-in. We retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.

06Payments

Where the Site or a project involves online payments (for example Mobile Money, cards, or crypto), those payments are processed by third-party providers such as Hubtel and NOWPayments. We do not store your full card or wallet details. Payment terms, deposits, and refund conditions for project work are set out in the relevant project agreement.

07Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

08Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties, and visiting them is at your own risk.

09Disclaimers

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Information on the Site is general in nature and does not constitute professional advice for your specific situation.

10Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, lalidev is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability relating to the Site is limited to the amount (if any) you paid us for access to it. Liability arising from a specific project is governed by the relevant project agreement.

11Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold lalidev harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising out of your misuse of the Site or your breach of these Terms.

12Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect once posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the revision. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes relating to the Site or these Terms are subject to the courts of Ghana.
